New eCommerce Launched Today...Beta Style

We’ve had a highly anticipated winter thus far…not because the Hollywood Awards season has begun, or because it’s 2014, but because we have a new eCommerce piece we’ve been wanting to give to the public–and it’s now in BETA AS OF TODAY!

Our team has been hard at work testing and testing and testing some more, to make sure our mobile eCommerce piece works as well as the rest of our tool.

What does this mean for you, the SquareHook User?

• It’s unbelievably easy to add products to your site to sell
• Our website builder has it all–do it yourself capabilities, along with the eCommerce functionality.
• Your site visitors have an even easier shopping experience-both on desktop, and more importantly, on mobile!
• You will save money on payment processing, by avoiding some expensive processing companies out there

To set up your store, just click on the “Store” icon in your navigation:

Once you’ve selected the STORE button, a dropdown will appear. 

Select the “Products” button to begin adding your products for sale:

Click on the

button.   A page will pop up where you can begin adding your product details.

Before you’re store has complete functionality, you’ll need to connect to a payment gateway, and you need to set up some shipping.

To edit your payment information, select the ‘Store Settings’ icon in the navigation.

We currently offer STRIPE as your payment gateway.  We will be releasing Authorize.Net shortly. :)  Under the settings, you will connect your payment processor.

Update your shipping information by selecting the 'Shipping’ icon in the navigation.

Edit your shipping settings by selecting “Add a shipping country.”

Here you can edit country, zip code, and shipping zone.

From the shopper’s point of view, this is what you have created using the tool:

Once, a user has begun adding to their cart, and wants to view what is in the cart, they just select their cart.  The cart will drop down from the top of their screen.  This allows the cart to be viewable whenever, wherever, and it doesn’t interrupt their shopping experience. (see image below)
